Lawyer email signature
Law firm signatures carry regulatory weight. Many bars expect the firm name, office address and jurisdictions of admission, and firms usually mandate a confidentiality notice.

Questions people ask
Are email disclaimers legally binding?
Generally no: a footer cannot create a contract with a recipient who never agreed to it. Firms still use them to flag privilege and to meet professional-conduct expectations.
What is required in a UK solicitor's email signature?
SRA-regulated firms must show their SRA number and the words "authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority" on letterhead and website, and many firms apply the same to email. Companies also need the registered name, number and office under the Companies Act.
